MAIN ENTRANCE

This entrance is the one nearest to the Estate Office and can be spotted from the C50 (old A30) by looking out for this sign.
There is another smaller entrance by the bus shelter and the church with a similar sign.

PATHFINDER VILLAGE CHURCH.

Shown here, purpose built in and for the village. The church has been consecrated for use by all Christian Faiths.
We celebrated its Silver (25 years) anniversary on 6th June 2006.
There are regular Church of England services and a monthly United Interdenominational service.

BROOKSIDE.

Links the entrance by the church to Glanvill's Close. There are two cul de sacs off it containing just few homes.
This picture shows of the later homes to be installed and the surrounding garden is typical of the care that most residents lavish on their homes.

THE CRESCENT.

The Crescent as a whole is one of the quiter parts of the village. It has a few homes on a loop. Many new homes with a few mid-generation Silkwoods
and older ones amongst them. It leads to Westwoods.

GLANVILL'S CLOSE.

Is a continuation of Six Acres from the bridge over the Lillybrook stream and also from Brookside.
One of the many homes in similar type of plots. i.e. amongst the trees.

HEATHERFIELD.

One of the first named parts of the Village and the road was actually laid by one man hand packing stones from the Village.
The rest of the stones formed the building that was the Red Indian, later the Log Cabin restaurant and now converted to the Estate Office.
Heatherfield with Six Acres can be regarded as a loop around the main part. of the Village or if you wish a larger loop via Brookside as well.

This is one of the two original "SILKWOODS" a beautiful home in an excellent setting.

HOLLAND COPSE.

The "top end" of the village. It has several cul de sacs off it.
Parts overlook the village and others the fields and forest, deer and foxes have been seen at times.
There is a gate at the very top that has according to Ordnance Survey an unmade made road to a house called "Glanvill's" the original
owner being the late Mr. "Tony" Horton, one of the two founders of Pathfinder Village
The other "Treetops" formerly owned by the late Mr. Alan Moseley a director and Company Secretary of Pathfinder Caravans Ltd. for many years.
O.S. list this unmade road going right through to Heath Lane.

A highly skilled model maker in the Village, this scale model windmill has been standing in the open for some years,
a tribute to the quality of his work and skills.

SIX ACRES.

This site was formerly the tourist caravan area.

WESTWOODS.

A very quiet part of the village, really a continuation of the Crescent, with a mixture of new, Silkwoods and the older homes.
A lot of the homes here overlook the local golf course. A cul-de-sac of course.
